Assumptions

Don’t make assumptions about your customers. You can’t create a quality business relationship when you assume you know someone, but haven’t actually found out what they value. We have a tendency to change the way we treat people based on how we perceive them. This is done by appearance, value of their vehicle, past purchase history, etc. In a lot of cases we are giving up on opportunities before we have even asked the first question! Speak with each customer with their best interest in mind and as if they have unlimited resources. Don’t make someones buying decisions for them.
