Take notes anytime you experience great and very poor customer service. Remember how each made you feel. Try to pick out the impact points of each type of experience. What are some things that the service member did to provide you with a great experience. On the flip side, what was done to ruin your experience. Apply what you’ve learned on your own career. Don’t ever miss an opportunity to get better. Service is service is service. We can learn so much about what to do and what not to do; at the bank, at a big box store, at restaurant, etc. Every business deals with people, therefore every business is in the service industry.
