“It is not the time that needs to be managed, it is ourselves.” 

Make good use of your down time each day. For every hour where you are running around, stretched thin,  can’t get it all done. There was an hour where you had very little to do. Use those hours to get your busy work done. A natural reaction is to take a break. Typically that break will make for a much more stressful hour ahead.
